There are plenty of thick bars in our gym Glen check the left hand corner at the back, 4 axles there. Also on the wall i have several thick handled dumbell handles including one from FBBC. If so you can;t go wrong with some thick DBs from FBBC - great for hammer curls, and a good way of packing some size on your forearms. Pinch wise if you haven't got any already invest in some metal plates that can be pinches smooth sides out.
