Roark
The schedule for the Arnold Classic events is posted. Nutshell: Strongman (including Apollon wheels and heavy farmer's walk) will be on the Expo stage. A $10 ticket gets you all day come and go access. Fri Feb 28 at 3 pm on main Expo stage and Sat Mar 1 at 11 am same place. BUT. BUT. In 2002 the events times were NOT what had been announced, so if you plan to attend, arrive early and doublecheck so you don't miss an event. Unfortunately several strength contests will be happening at the same time in different places, so you have to choose among olympic lifting, powerlifting, and strongman- at least as the schedule stands now. "D"
What's the scoop on buying tickets? I'd like to go but live in Maryland, I'll be damned if I travel all that way for it to be sold out!
Roark
'D' Check the Arnold Classic website, but anything happening in the Expo can be seen for a $10 entry-covers-all charge. The dilemma is that several major events happen at the same time, so you must choose which you want to see, though you are free to roam from one to the other. Get your hand stamped and you can come and go all day, but the next day is another $10. The Expo is never sold out, but it can become more crowded than Rosie's girdle, and forget about getting a seat- plan on standing.
