I was just farting around and tried to tear a hotel room key in half and it was harder than I expected! ... my hands were a little greasy to begin with, but I didn't think it would be a problem ... I was wrong ... I had to work at it. I'll try with some chalk next time which may make all the difference but it def gave me a suprise ... The card just cuts into your hands, and it doesn't tear, it just heats up and stretches. Done. Def not posting that video. Cannon Posted December 3, 2009 Share Posted December 3, 2009 Paul, I've tried this before when my credit union sent me a new debit card and I had to destroy the old one. Even after bending the card over and over in the middle, I still found it hard to tear at the crease! I was able to finally get it ripped after fiddling for a while.
