jade
i have been working with grippers for about a solid month now and i am starting to see i need to work on my pinch. My gym's plates are rubber and have holes so i am thinking of getting either Ironminds hub style pinch gripper or the blockbuster pinch grip block, or the rolling thunder. If you guys had to pick one to go with grippers which would it be?

tusrb41
Find 2 Rolling Thunder's and use them for farmers walks, pull-up's, connect them to an olympic bar with a set of daisy chains and do shrugs and curls with them. Last but not least, deadlifts. You will be amazed. Enjoy!
Guest Bullitt
The pinch block. What he said. ^ I started working my new 2 hand pinch block and not only did my 2HP numbers go up, but I was finally able to lift a blob and hub a 45. Great carryover. If you can get an adjustable pinch block, even better. That way you can train different widths and have even better carryover.

Guest Bullitt
They also have a 2 hand, adjustable pinch block: http://www.fatbastardbarbellco.com/2HANDPINCH.html And a 1 hand and 2 hand economy model that is not adjustable: http://www.fatbastardbarbellco.com/ECONOMYPINCH.html This one called the Big Squeeze is pretty cool too. It is plate loadable like a barbell, and you can do pinch and simulate plate curls on it: http://www.fatbastardbarbellco.com/BIGSQUEEZE.html All good options. Also get a hard pony clamp at the hardware store for $5 to work your thumbs dynamically. Good luck bro!
