Guest Mikael Siversson
Tried a new RT handle recently. With a well used one I lift the most if I wet my hands and rubb them dry, whereas with the new handle I did better using chalk (but could still not duplicate my lifts with the older handle). It seems like at a certain point of wear (a few months?) the surface of the handle will provide a better grip with the first method.
OldGuy
I have found that chalk only helps with metal, and that with pvc clean but moist hands gives you a better grip. Might be something to do with suction.
mobsterone
Another tip. I tried having the handle at right angles to the body but lift more having it parallel.
