indiladhar Posted October 8, 2009 Share Posted October 8, 2009 ive been working to pinch to 15 kg plates. started lifting them with 2 hands, progressed to using the second hand (only index, ring and thumb) to assist, and then the 2nd hand using ring, pinky and thumb. ive tried lifting and then letting the 2nd hand go but the plates go down. anyone have any progression tips? could i try lifting with just 1 finger from the second hand, or would that lead to a risk of injury or strain? Magnus Posted October 8, 2009 Share Posted October 8, 2009 I use my index and thumb sometimes, and never feel any strain, and it's easier to modulate how much you're assisting.
