andurniat Posted September 7, 2009 Share Posted September 7, 2009 On sunday Craig Call came over to my gym from Ashland University. He's 19 and an All-America prospect in the shot putt. He is one strong boy and has been training grip for only a couple of month now. We started with grippers and he easily slammed the #3 and then went onto a M2 replica. We played around with my axle (300# for Craig) and my new 2hp which he pulled around 160# ( i have yet to weight the thing). andurniat Posted September 9, 2009 Author Share Posted September 9, 2009 Yes it was with a hook grip. I went thumbless up to 110kg and then no hook to 130kg I believe.
