Otherwise, you may choose your body position-lean over your forearm, stand straight up, lean back. Grasping the end of the handle with the other end perpendicular to your forearm. lever up the hammer until it is vertical. As I recall without looking it up, Kaz did this with a standard length, store-bought 16 lb sledge. Details needed if you report on this- handle length from wood tip to top of hammer head, and the weight of the sledge.
