On the COC Scale? Around a 3.5 or so? I ordered one from John today and have decided that will be my long term goal Gripper.

I have never closed one, but they calibrate between 175 and 190 if I recall. Mine cal'd at 183, not sure if it was oiled before that. So yes, around a 3.5.

My HARD is nearly identical to my harder 3.5.

Just got an FBBC Hard from Sam and I'd say it was around #180 feels just a tad harder than my 81kg #3.5.

Is there an actual gripper with the name "FBBC Hard" or is it just one of the 3X or 4X ones?

Mine was 179 lbs. However, it's the widest gripper I've had and the sweep is tough. So it does feel harder than that, harder than most #3.5's I would say.

I had a squeeze (cold) of the FBBC HARD i sent Autolupus, and came up 1/4'' short. This gripper feels up there with the MM3. I didn't think the sweep was too hard, but it was reasonably tough at the close. I have another FBBC HARD - i can close this one on demand, i'd guess it's about 170ish.
