austinslater
Has anyone made a 3"rolling thunder handle? IF so, how? Thanks Austin
mobsterone
Those that have made handles have used, in the main, 2 sources. One is heavy duty and thick walled PVC and the other steel pipe. Either can be obtained from hardware stores. A rarely used and slightly most costly but ideal alternative is to have an item made for you by the local metal-worker/smith/welder. If you can afford it PDA make items from stock and to order. I would take copies of the pictures from Ironmind and or Weightlifters warehouse. There may be issues of copyright, more so if you sell it on, but a slight variation, namely a 3 inch version, should be ok.
Jonathan McMillan
Apdwler's website also has an interesting idea for a homemade rolling thunder with a typical pulley handle some PVC and some concrete I believe. Jon@han

Bill Piche
I just heard PDA might make a 3 incher. And, one much better mechanically the way it rotates.
apdwler
My site is below. I think you could easily use larger pvc and get something around 3". Edited December 14, 2002 by apdwler
