Rick Browne
Just received Brookfield's Book about 30 mins. ago. I only did a cursory quick view of the contents. First, I will say that it contains twice the information for developing hand strength as "Mastery of Handstrength" Many new exrcises to perform using primarily the same implements he stated in his previous book. Perhaps more indepth description to each exercise though. here is a list of some of the strength focus exercises he describes. *Functional strength for whole body *upper body *Total lower arm development *Wrists and forearms ( none using barbells or DBs) *Hand development.. *Last two finger work *Individual finger work *Thumb development work *Extensors Closing the COC grippers *Bending steel *Twisting strength *Muscle control and dexterity *Endurance *Flexibility *Discipline Each topic above is described in succinct detail of how to and tips to perform them. Basic rep schemes, frequency, etc. I counted 54 photos showing starting positions of the hands in the movements. No thick bar exercises with barbells or DBs. Kind of disappointing in this regard. I could go on with more about the book but this post appears to be lengthy as it is now. Brookfield does give personal reflection on how the movements enhanced his strength. I am happy with the book. I think it covers beginning, intermediate and advanced levels for everyone to benefit by. Of course, you guys decide for yourself if it is worth the purchase I am sure there will be many more opinions as the book is received. Now it's time to study up

Mine must still be in the mail, but now I really can't wait!
