mightyjoe
I was wondering if any of you guys that are good at the Rolling Thunder and Crusher can help me out with any suggestions on getting better at these lifts? This is my absolute worst event! It seems no matter what I do I can't increase much at all on the Crushers (2" & 3") and the Rolling Thunder. My best on Rolling Thunder is 125 lbs. 2" Crusher = 128 lbs. 3" Crusher = 78 lbs. I currently train these once a week, Sunday. My hand size is 6-7/8". Any suggestions are appreciated! mobsterone
Doesn't work for me but many others have said relatively high rep (12-20) sets work.

Mighty Joe Joe I have recently work with many more singles with my RT and that is helping me. I have kept everything in the 1-3 rep range with 88-97% of my 1RM range and its working now
Guest indi
itll depend on the individual. my RT was stuck fast, and i tried heavy sngles, high rep sets etc with a high percentage of my max, and got nowhere. switched it up to 4 sets of 7 second holds and progress came readily. my previous 1RM was a lousy 65kg. ive worked upto sets of 7 second hols with 60kg now, and it doesnt plan on stopping. try different approaches, dont be afriad to step away from the norm, you never know what might work for you
