David_wigren
It'll be fun to see all the stuff everyone's gonna put down under this year. I'm not good with loong time goals, I just see something and recognize if I can get it within reasonable time, and then I work for it. One step at a time
foxyj75
Been out of the bending loop for a while, but here are some possible goals for 09': 5.5''x3/8'' steelworks crs insane brutal hex insane shiny 6''x3/8'' fastenal 0-1 dr Shiny in every way DU 3/8'' x 7'' steeworks crs 7''x1/2'' 360 brass round DU blob(an original, otherwise it wouldn't count! )
Adam Moyers
Red Nail Cert by 06-11-09/26th Bday Bastard Everything between a Bastard and Huge Shiny Bastard by the end of 09.
crobb1320
My Bending goals are,and this might sound kinda weak ,But for now: Reverse a 6"g5. finish a G8 Finish the crush on 5" g5(just a little past 90 now) DO bastard and Red. And when thats done I will decide new goals. It feels good to be bending again after being away from it for pretty close to a year,I'd say 10 or 11months. diesel
i might do the IM cert. not sure. i have a few more things, non bending related, that i want to accomplish before i go down that road.

gumpster
Hmmm... DO FBBC 1/4" x 5.5" Square FBBC 1/4" x 5" Grade 5 Bolt Red FBBC Bastard 7mm x 150mm Stainless (from Hugo) 5/16" x 6" hard Grade 2 Bolt (those are 6", not 6.5" Hugo ) DU FBBC 1/4" x 6" Grade 5 Bolt Reverse FBBC 1/4" x 7" Square FBBC 1/4" x 6.5" Square FBBC 1/4" x 6" Grade 5 Bolt + a few PRs on locally purchased stock I'm trying to be realistic (it took me 11 months to get the Grade 8 down). Hoping for a shiny, hex or Edgin would be setting myself up for disappointment.
John Eaton
I'm not much of a bender, because I won't practice or train it. That said, I might try to get the Red Nail Cert out of the way as it's just a pain tolerance feat for me. I might get on a horseshoe kick as well. Namely Diamond Classics they have given me trouble. easyWeight
Good topic Hugo! I'll list mine as I see myself doing first and easiest to hardest IMO. Short-term (through the next month or so) DO Goals 6"x1/4" FBBC Square 5"x1/4" G8 6.5" Red Big Bastard Big Golden IM Red Nail Cert ~ or at least bending them consistently in IMPs since the cert process may take longer 5.5"x1/4" FBBC Square 5 Red Nails in a row, minimal rest ~ just something I've been thinking about attempting in the near future Long-term (mid summer to end of year) DO Brutal Hexabastard + Shiny Bastard + 6" Red Nail Huge Bastard Huge Golden More IMP bending DU Goals G5 G8 Red Nail + Reverse G5 7mm CRS Obviously I haven't worked the other styles enough to have any real set goals yet, but my goals are to get stronger on them! ewokhugo
Darin, 6" square will go down in less than 30 sec its just a matter to try it ... same for 5.5" square and 5" g8 because u have a killer crush. u already did some bend with 1/4 " x 6" crs(reverse) i believe u can shot for one g8 at least. i am not doing any type of reverse bending( its not good i know, not sure how far i can go) i am "hooked" again with DO! lol John, u have horse power man , bending world miss u! Josh, i know what u mean and i respect your "rest period". so far so good! only 17 years OLD! waw! u need to start it again maybe teaching non-benders to get the felling? this way u may catch the "light" again...:-) David, i understand your point but U NEED to shoot for something BIG!:p thats because your potencial its bigger than the "sky" and if u dont talk about it they may not happend Adam, i like your goals, few weeks ago u were in troubles to kink the 60 d nail , now u have GREAT goals! looking for your red nail bend! Fox, its better to run because there are some Impressive bends there! Nick: red nail should be VERY easy for u i have no doubt. Yersinia: i notice doing some shoulder work in the gym/(actually my garage)makes sense , otherwise my bending may suffer from it (and my health). crobb: i remember when u get injured , it sucks! welcome back , u have at it takes now(mental power) to overcome every previous goal! Perry, u can add 7 mm crs (DU) if u wish i think this bar its close to g5. Edited March 2, 2009 by ewokhugo

John Beatty
Since I pretty much max at the BBB, I'm going to aim for the Edgin Medley, and want to get the 7", 6.5", 6", and 5.5". ewokhugo
i have to say Aaron impress me a lot ... he's already an elite bender and doesnt stop to challenge his mind to the limit. John , best of luck! what about to create a new piece of steel/bar? it should be fun! Matt: LOL , u will get the yellow barehand for sure. what about to shoot for a red (al least)?
