My Armwrestling Machine

I posted a little while ago about an armwrestling machine I made mostly from scraps I had laying around. The whole thing cost me $40, but if you did not have extra pipe and wood already like I did it would probably be around $80.

Great machine!

Just an idea - I'm no expert or anything but you could use a longer piece of pipe where the weights go and weld a stopper to it about 12" away from the vertical tube so the plates are offset - thus giving some resistance when the handle is held at the neutral position.

nice first homemade table you said on your vid let the weight stop before you do the next rep thats good but add some fast reps where the weight jercks your arm back like a real match . and here is a good way to make a hand grip go get a used lacaross ball hold it in a vise and use a hole saw and cut almost all the way through the ball like 3/4 through then spin the ball on your handle it feels like a real hand when gripping it also if you make a later on table go to a spring making co and find a 12inch piece of spring with coils a bit bigger than a no 4 gripper cost about $12 bucks cut your pipe about one inch above where it cones through your table and spin on the spring it will look like a power twister bar http://images.google.com/images?um=1&h...G=Search+Images when your done then you have a better range of motion good luck in your armwrestling
