lloyd80s
I was looking at the grippers sizes thread and saw a GM1, 2 and 3 cert gripper. Can anyone tell me what a GM gripper is? Thanks
Benedikt Farsmann
I think it is a gripper that was used for grippermania certs
Cannon
I think it is a gripper that was used for grippermania certs Yup. They were narrow-spread grippers and no set was required.

Cheers! Do you know who made them and if they're still out to buy?
cemery
I think they are RB narrow grippers. I could be wrong.
vikingsrule92
I think they are RB narrow grippers. I could be wrong. No, only GM4 and GM5 were RB narrows. The other three are Tetting Grippers. I believe the GM1 is a SM spring w/ 1/8" (or 1/16", can't remember) with 2 1/8" spread GM2 is the same but with an Elite spring GM3 the same but with GE spring. GM4 is a RB300N GM5 is RB330N Not 100% on the GM specs but they're really close to those. Lloyd, I have a GM1 Replica I'd be willing to sell you if you're interested. CoC#3
i think, but i am not 100% sure: GM1 was a narrow BBSM GM2 was a narrow BBE GM3 was a narrow BBSE - this is the one i'm not sure about can somone clarify?? GM4 was an RB300N GM5 was an RB330N All certs have to be done TNS, and on camera. you're best off PMing 'maidenfan' i recall he closed all of them while the certs were still up and running. vikingsrule92 - i closed the GM1 and it was mounted sub flush. vikingsrule92
Sam, I'm pretty sure the GM3 is a GE spring. Ok I could've sworn they had the specs posted as it above flush but I've never touched the real gripper so they could have stated it wrong. Come to think of it you're probably right buddy. That would follow suit really SM, E, GE... I have TNS closed a narrow GE (sold it later though as it was a little easier than i'd hoped). The GM1 felt like an easier #2. If you can TNS any #2 i think you would be sure of a close.

Bob Lipinski
The GM2 had a GM spring I think. Pretty sure it wasn't an elite spring, or if it was it was mounted alot easier than the GM1. I could be wrong though.
