U.s. Vs. Metric Bolts

I got some M8 (8mm diameter) metric bolts that have a DIN rating (class) of 8.8. I did some search and found the following table of ratings:

US Bolts; Diameter (inch); Proof load (psi); Min. yield strength (psi); Min. tensile strength (psi);

Grade 5; 1/4 thru 1; 85000; 92000; 120000;

Metric Bolts; diameter (mm); Proof load (psi); Min. yield strength (psi); Min. tensile strength (psi);

Class 8.8; 0 thru 16; 84122; 92824; 116030;

Does anyone have experience with these M8 bolts vs. G5 bolts? I can get a tiny kink to M8's at 7 inch length, haven't tried an Edgin though...

Unfortunately I haven't found any 8.8 bolts long enough to bend in the first place.

The longest I've found were 5".

But an 8.8 is similar to a G5, that's true ;)

Thanks. You want to have one? I scored 10 at length of 22cm in Finland on holidays...

Sounds interesting, but I don't really bend that much anymore lately so I doubt I could take it down now ;)
