Rocketman248
My hands and arms have been pretty sore the last couple days, so I decided to take 3 days off of all gripwork. Well, on the first day, I got my 27.5# Blob from Scott Styles, so naturally I had to play with that a little. On top of that, he threw in a few bending goodies. First off was a few 60Ds. I posted a few days ago about bending the 60D, which then turned out to be a little smaller than 1/4". So I had to see if I really could bend these things. It went down without a fight. Here they are with the fake 60d http://www.gripboard.com/uploads/123042346..._1038_51811.jpg He also threw in a few 1/4x6" bolts. One grade 2, and one grade 5. I knew I had to try bending one of them. So naturally, I brushed aside the grade 2, and went straight for the G5. Boy, that little sucker was tough. I got it to 90 degrees before it bit back. I'm sure with a few days of proper rest, I could get it. http://www.gripboard.com/uploads/123042346..._1038_65691.jpg http://www.gripboard.com/uploads/123042346..._1038_78103.jpg So after all that, I went straight to Mcmaster Carr, and ordered 10 pounds of 60Ds, about 50 Grade 2s, 50 grade 5s, and 10 grade 8s (just for kicks and giggles). I seem to have fallen pretty hard for bending.

Booyah!!!
Nice Bends Rocketman248 Those 60Ds come in a # of strengths, usually semi sharp V bends are harder than the U type bends with the standard 60Ds, you will be able to tell better as you grow with this sport. I like dealing with McMaster, they seem to be a nice company, But,,, If http://www.fatbastardbarbellco.com/BENDERSBAG.html has what I am looking for, I normally order through him, John Beatty. You can also do certs with his metals. Just go to the link and click shipping on the left side of page Good luck with your new found addiction

In the batch that Scott sent me, there were a few that felt like a Green nail, and there was one that I had to fight with for about 3 minutes to get below 2". I've got a few orders in with FBBC. I bought the 60Ds from McMaster, because I haven't been able to find them in the area. I figured while I was ordering from them, I might as well get some bolts too.
