Jeff Parker
I got 2 40# yorks the other day, cut them up and now cant decide which end to keep and which to sell. The # side seems to be the most desired, maybe because it distinctly says how big it is, but I plan on doing what RS does anyway and weighing it on the post office scale and then marking it as such visibly and permantly. I have on the way the york side of a 60 (if derek ever cuts it up ) and the york side of a 85. I cant decide if I want the # side of the 40 or the york side to keep my collection all the same. What do you perfer and why? Edited December 28, 2008 by Strongmantobe
vikingsrule92
Sorry about that dude, I don't have my own chop saw, just an angle grinder which would burn out if I tried to cut that. I prefer the number side, just because it's a little rarer and it seems cooler to me to have the number (so essentially no real reason, just a personal preference )
Autolupus
Lazy little sod! It's only an inch! ...a sharp 24 tooth hacksaw would be through in less than 5 minutes!

If it's a 4 1/2"/115mm angle grinder I could send out a couple of 1mm "slitting" discs, they'll go through in no time.

knyaz
I like the number side, just looks nice seeing the number on those big blocks , but its just used for strenghtening your hands so it shouldn't really matter
