Hard as nails

Funny you should mention that.  One time in a store I "solved" one of those twisted nail puzzles by pulling one nail through the small gap in the other.  Didn't really bend the one nail out of the way, just pulled it through the small opening.  It sprang open when I pulled on the nail and then snapped back.  The puzzle was different than the ones shown on this site, however.

I do now!

If you look in Sons of Sampson II there is a picture of Slim with a nail chain behind him (p50), in order to do it you have to pound them after the crush down.  Problem is, most nails I've tried won't close up enough to make it so another will not slip through.  It's not my strength thats the problem, sometimes I can actually feel the head of the nail contact the other side when I hit it, but it springs back after the impact.  I should try some other brands of nails to find ones that do not spring as much.

A nail wreath!   :)  :D  :)

Well you could just tie them to a ring of wire when your done bending your nails.  That's how my gal makes her candy wreath's anyways.
