Then again I didn't specialise that much, it was more about closing the 1 with both hands in loads of different ways before moving to the 2. matthcarl Posted December 13, 2008 Share Posted December 13, 2008 Just to clarify my response, I closed both the #1 and #2 the first time I tried them. I started with HG grippers. I could not close the 200 at first, but got it within a couple of weeks. This was July '07. I'd rate it a little harder than a #1 (though it has since seasoned down to a little easier). I first tried CoC grippers at Brendan Dwyer's house in August of '07, where I closed the #1, #1.5, and #2 fairly easily. After that, I ordered some of my own CoC grippers, and got a murderously hard #2 that took me several more months to close Once I was closing that regularly, it was less than a month before I got the #2.5, and only a few more weeks before I closed my RB 260N, which is my PR to date. Joejoe Posted December 13, 2008 Share Posted December 13, 2008 Took about 2 years. I received the #1 & #2 as a gift. I closed the #1 out of the package but the #2 felt like a beast. Within a years time I was VERY close to the #2. I stopped grippers for about 9months after that. I later got serious about grippers again, though by then I had a large gap between the #2.
