twig
Just asking, cos I've a brother-with-another-mother coming across the pond on Thursday, and it's just occurred to me, if he can buy and bring the plates with him, we can standardise the lift. And as we all know, the dimensions of the plates can make all the difference.

I can ship you some - they are standard plates kinda like the Cap Barbell type. How many do you need? If you want me to buy them, just let me know -- I'll be going out tomorrow to see if I can find ya a bunch of them!

I work weekends 12 hour shifts thats my contract so no go for me m8 cant speak for max tho. He has all the tools to lift the 6 x 11s he should have done it long ago but hes weak in the mind If my hands were half in longer i would lift em myself the weights not a problem but sadly i cant make my fingers longer I reckon Paul would lift them. The Natural
We Americans don't need any special brand of plate. We're just that strong. -Rex
gazza
We Americans don't need any special brand of plate. We're just that strong. -Rex In your case Rex thats true except you suck at bending Were as i suck at everything except bending Seriously We have a problem over here finding 10lb plates because we went metric its 5kilos plates mostly cap brand so its logical that if your on the verge of lifting 6 x 10s why not shoot for the 6 x 11s if you have or can find them. My mate Maxwell has all the strength and things to do this but he spends more time pissin around he should have done this along time ago
