The Gripster
I have the machine from New York Barbells, which is the same type as the one from BB and I really like it. I'm starting a new routine in a couple of weeks and I will include its use in every workout. The machine from NYBB is $80. The Secret Weapon, I think, is for more advanced gripsters. Sybersnott
Gripster is right. The SW is not for beginners; I believe there are better grip machines for those just starting in grip training. The plate loaded one from NYB is a good starter. http://www.newyorkbarbells.com/9165.html
Cunny
Anywhere I can see a picture of the SW or is it a secret , Why is it recommended for more advanced gripsters, just comparing costs and shipping prices to the UK, I might be better going for something better now because of shipping costs. Just spotted that the NewyorkBB co only ships U.S
Patrik_F
Hehe, I am also wondering about the SW. I have never seen it. Does it have any advantages over the Gripinator from PDA?
OldGuy
This pic of the SW is from the gallery.
The Gripster
IMO they are not for beginners because of the amount of stress that the severe negative will place on hand. Once your hands have developed the tendon and ligament a little you can use the SW to do a severe negative which will be more painful than doing them on a higher up gripper than you can close. Hope I explained this correctly.
