Six Barrel Shotgun
Is BBSM just a little little easier then CoC 2.5? Generally. ´ It says on wwfitness that it is 235 lbs and CoC 2.5 is 238 i have read. Does that seem right for you who have tried both? EDIT: Or else, do you know of any gripper which you feel is between RB 180 and CoC 2.5 ? Im looking for a gripper just slightly easier then #2.5 "HG250 is like a #2." Oh. That seems easy for so much weight it says it has. Six Barrel Shotgun
What about HG300? That one gotta be harder then CoC 2.5 ?
Cannon
You're trying to hit a tough target. You might want to look at an RB240n. But even then, I have one that is harder than most #2.5s. CHECK THIS OUT Pay no attention to the numbers assigned to any grippers by the retailer. They mean nothing when compared. At best, they give an idea of progression within one retailer's line. Cannon
What about HG300?That one gotta be harder then CoC 2.5 ? This gripper varies more than any other gripper. I have had two HG300s that are almost identical to my #2. A friend has one that is harder than a #3. It's a crapshoot. If you're close to the 2.5, but not quite there, just get a 2.5 and put it in a choker.

Six Barrel Shotgun
I think I go for a RB240N and hope it's not a hard one I get. Thanks for the link Cannon. Edited November 28, 2008 by Six Barrel Shotgun

MIKE HALEY RILEY CLOE
I have both the 2.5 and the SM. And I would agree with Cannon and Peter, the SM is more like a 2.7-2.8. vikingsrule92
I have 2 SMs, both are harder then both of my 2.5s and with the things I've been hearing about Tettings latest grippers they appear to be getting harder by the batch. thearm95
Mine - 2.7, maybe a bit more.

Ain't that the truth! The man wants to make the most hardcore grippers I guess.
Yersinia
my SM is easier than my 2.5 . but my 2.5 is hard as hell
Mlstrass
All my grippers are calibrated and this is how they stack up. I don't give poundages as I use my low pulley with the RGC, so the numbers won't match up with others. Everything is based off my hardest #3 which is an older double stamped. RB180 = 2.33 PDA262 = 2.5 #2.5 = 2.6 Older BBSM = 2.64 New BBSM = 2.79 You could file the RB180 as mine is now a 2.37 with a little filed off or try to find a PDA262. Hubgeezer
I think I go for a RB240N and hope it's not a hard one I get. Thanks for the link Cannon. It is a difficult target. I would tend to go with a RB180. They generally run a little tougher than a 2. I have a RB160 that is about a 2.3, and a RB180 that is a 2.1. I don't think it is likely you would get a 240N that would be below 2.5, but the chances of a RB180 being closer to a 2.5 than a 2 are very good.
