I've been struggling to bridge the gap between 1/4" square and this one, and finally it clicked. Just needs to work on some speed and some more confidence in the kink, feels great, even if there are lots more to go for, this sure was a milestone! The rubberbands don't add that much with such minimal padding anyway. I find them useful to help keep my double wraps from slipping or to keep the other wrap in place while wrapping the other side, but not much else.
