popeye76
i hve had the gripper bug for awhile now and i really want to go far in that area of the grip. i currently train grippers twice a week. for a couple of weeks now i have been doing wrist roller work with a 2.5 in.wristroller and i have noticed that my crush is not as strong. i really want to work on my wrists and pinch once a week but it seems to interfere with my crush. my gripper days are wed. and saturday. where during the week should i include the wristroller and pinch work. should i not worry about how many days a week i train and just train when i feel recovered or just include the pinch and w.roller work on a day inbetween my gripper days and just wait for my hands to adapt to the training. any input is appreciated. If you train grippers on a third day, do you feel that your overtraining? i.e. are your hands overly sore to be able to include this workout? If you feel that your hands can take it then throw in a third day of grippers
Jacobs86
I often feel that less is more. I think that it is so easy to overtrain the hands. I train grippers twice a week. Thats it. I might do some pinch or wrist work occasionally, but i think you have to ask yourself "what do i want to acheive". For instance, if you want to shut grippers, concentrate on grippers - specificity. Also, what do you do by way of general training? I ask that because deadlifts, benching, barbell rows and general weight training seems to take it's toll on my hands
