2 X Huge Shinys 2gether

Wow Gazza, that is insane. I like how you write a big PB. Man, all of your personal bests are just plain BESTS, the personal part no longer applies to you. I meant a big PB in double stuff i was not compareing it to other stuff i train or PB on.

What is that creaky crackling noise at about 7:25? The wraps or what? I would hate to think it might be something in your hands or joints. Normally I would think wraps but at 1400+ like was already said, I get a bit worried. Thats the wraps trying to chicken out they dont like double bars :D:D hands feel fine just the usual deep achey feel after a hard bend but thats it.

How do you feel this compares to the railroad spikes? Spikes harder on account of ive only just managed to get it under 2inches that over multiple sessions that head is the problem plus it being a bigpiece of squire dont help :D Once i get a decent wrap on it and find the best place in my hand because it hits the hand and fingers differently because of that huge head it will be easier[easier being relative]i am still a ways of from doing one in a single session i think some of the big stainless ive been hitting is definately harder on the crush maybe thats weakened me a little i like to go back and forth on stock thats PR stuff as it stops the mind burning out just trying the one piece and like i said that head plays a big role if the spikes were say 7-8 inches i would try one with the head off but taking the head of these em being only 6inches i dont think you would gain any advantage.

Once again I honestly can't understand how you are doing this, it really doesn't seem humanely possible. I think scientists and doctors should be studying you or something.

I used to think the same about Pat and people obviously thought the same about the Atom,Zass,Brookfield,Kinney etc

Once you get past being a beginner bender and start having real FAITH in your own abilities then each and every session should just be a battle against your MIND/Body and the STEEL alot you will loose but as you win some that makes the MIND/FAITH in your own abilities stronger and it goes on from there.

Still waiting for the MOASB Gazza, until then this is all just weak stuff ........................ Hahaha just kidding, great bend Gaz, like the sound effects by the way :D:laugh

Derek just looking at the stuff youve done in your signature there wont be anything you cant do if you carry on the way you are my young friend.

The MOASB Is a tough piece of steel wether it be 304 or 303 grade the 303 obviously tougher and yes all the other steel ive done or tried is weaker :D

I have done some moabs not actually Johns stock so only comparison is the diameter in Brass tough brass at that infact the crush on the brass i have is actually tougher than an equivalent piece of drillrod and right up there with 304 stainless but behind the 303 grade.

I am actually working on something a bit tougher right now for a part unbraced part braced bend for the virtual comp.

Gazza the Great comes in with a huge PB and once again pushes back the boundaries of what human beings can bend.

One 6" shiny 5/16 calibrates at least 700 lbs so two of them would seem to calibrate at 1400 lbs !! :bow:bowThankyou but poundage means nothing you either bent it or dont!

Gazza's previous Huge KOASB (6" x 3/8 shiny) would likely calibrate at about 30% more than the 820 lb a 7" x 3/8 shiny calibrated at. //ie about 1065 lbs.

I believe Eric's calibration set up cannot go much above 800 lbs, but I would think that he, unless it has allready been done, could put two 1/4" x 6" pieces together and calibrate them to make sure that it is just a doubling of force required to bed them.

Once again, Gazza has expanded the large gap between him and anyone else who's ever touched a piece of steel. :bow:bowOnce all the other benders start believing in themselves and learn how to partially ignore some of the pain then there will be no stopping them and i will be left in there wake there are "NO LIMITS"[within reason once i learn how to really deal with the pain then i will extend those "LIMITS".

1400 lbs !!! :rock:rock ..Gazza, I don't think you care for CRS, but certainly I'd think that you could take down a MOASB (7" x 7/16 CRS) if not shorter ones.

Also I think you could show us bends smaller than 6" x 3/8" shinies.I have gone shorter than this.

Simply amazing and the best bend ever !!

I loved the comment .. "Rex...that doesn't take grip either"Rex is a good guy :D and strong i am only yanking his chain its nice to add abit of friendly argumentative banter to the threads once in a while it adds to ones viewing pleasures :D

That did not look hard enough for you, Gazza.

Believe you me i seen stars and tweety birds on a few of those hits and had a good headache for a few days plus cramped my right bicep for a good few hours after its nowhere near equal to a 16mms thick bar tho.

6inch stock is were my power is the most usefull.

I must have missed this whole Rex thing about grip. Whats it all about?

Great bend Gazza. This should place you in at least the top 10 spot for the virtual GB competition :whistel:dry

LOL, I must have missed this comment myself. Gotta watch it again.

Thanks Gazza. Haha, nothing but a joke, the MOASB will come shortly for you, I have no doubts. But with what you've been doing lately, I would be shocked if the MOASB is anywhere NEAR your max, I expect much more from you before your retirement ;)

You've done 1/2" Brass and HRS right? Can't remember.

Want to give us any hints as to what?
