Tunafish Posted October 7, 2008 Share Posted October 7, 2008 In the FBBC beginners bag is FFBC stock 1/4 labelled TY an easy G5 bolt , bent one but couldn't bend the 5/16 307A lablled A which is supposedly easier weird? matthcarl Posted October 7, 2008 Share Posted October 7, 2008 (edited) The first one you mentioned sounds like a G5...it should have 3 tick marks, as well as the letters, which are a brand marking. The other is a 5/16" G2...softer steel, but much, much harder to kink because of the diameter. When I bent one of those, it was only a couple of weeks until I bent a bastard. Anyway, congrats on the G5...that's not an easy bend either, so it sound slike you are progressive very well.
