While I think the national championships should always have more or less "normal" events, it keeps stuff fun to have the events change up. In a similar vein, I hope Zach's strength/grip contest does well. For promoters looking to increase attendance, being unique is a benefit (as long as it is something people like). I got lucky because Don Larkin gave me everything "special" I needed for a cool contest, though the MGC is also very fond of hammers .
