MalachiMcMullen
To those of you who have done it, how hard are the following... 21/64 CRS 23/64 CRS 11/32 12L14 11/32 CRS 11/32 304 11/32 303 11/32 0-1 7/16 HRS I'm aware that most are around Edgin strength, I'm looking for comparitive difficulty to whatever you can compare it to. I recently acquired a few small pieces of the 11/32 CRS and 7/16 HRS at 8" and 7". I banana'd the 8" pieces of 11/32. Ha, I just realized I didn't add in 11/32 303. Now it's there Edited September 5, 2008 by MalachiMcMullen

Now it's there 21/64 CRS (no idea) although W1 wasnt bad 23/64 CRS (no idea) Same W1 wasnt bad 11/32 12L14 not too bad 11/32 CRS somewhat more challenging I've done down as far as 5.5" on the stuff 11/32 304 (no idea) 11/32 303 (tough/evil on the crush) 7" piece tested 685 for the stuff I have. no idea on the 0-1 or 7/16 either but I have gone as high as .384 W1 - Aaron
wscorpion
23/64 CRS tested around 12lbs harder then a triangle edgin. I guess the 7/16 HRS will be similar since I did the 10mm HRS and it was a quit a bit easier then the 23/64 CRS, but I've never bent it, so it's just a guess For the rest, I don't know. MalachiMcMullen
21/64 CRS (no idea) although W1 wasnt bad23/64 CRS (no idea) Same W1 wasnt bad 11/32 12L14 not too bad 11/32 CRS somewhat more challenging I've done down as far as 5.5" on the stuff 11/32 304 (no idea) 11/32 303 (tough/evil on the crush) 7" piece tested 685 for the stuff I have. no idea on the 0-1 or 7/16 either but I have gone as high as .384 W1 - Aaron Now by "wasn't bad" and "somewhat more challenging", you are comparing everything to Edgins, yes? What part wasn't bad; The kink, sweep, crush? Thanks guys

I think the 21/64 in w1 was just a little harder than a grand bastard, 23/64 maybe like a 6.5 edgin, 11/32 12L14 Prolly a edgin or little less. 11/32 CRS maybe an edgin although the cal on the stock I have was a little less at 550 it feels harder than the cal to me. the 11/32 303 was like a Big G8 on the kink and much worse on the crush. The 11/32 CRS and 12L14 are gonna have a little tougher finish than you might expect due to the larger diameter as well. - Aaron

That wider arc really creeps up on you. Thanks again for the info!
bencrush
I've said it before, but the 11/32" DR (O-1) is pretty dang stout stuff. A good deal harder than an Edgin. I finished off a bunch of Edgins before finally getting an 11/32"X7" DR (O-1) under 5 minutes.
