that's really amazing. I think the fact that you managed to find 6 good 25's is a close second. awesome work bob.

Thanks everyone. I did it on my second try, my RH shot up too fast the first time and the LH couldn't keep up. Double pinch lifts are something I've only tried a few times and are very hard to hit timing-wise. I think working on the 6x10 lift helped make this feel relatively "easy". I haven't tried 3x25 for a long time. Sometimes I do a silly grin in my videos in honor of my late father, who said he always smiled when he fought or boxed-seems to help with grip sometimes as well.

Jedd, I'm sure Eaton's plates are about the same as mine. I might have been able to hold it longer, but don't like to risk dropping the plates and ruining the lift the first time I achieve a feat. I guess that would be an interesting medley item.

Brent is right about finding two pairs of three matching plates (thanks Craigslist) being a feat in itself.

Ben, I hadn't really thought about my BW in comparison to the weight of the plates. It makes me think I should be able to do a pretty good Euro-pinch once I get the technique and form dialed in. It also made me wonder why 2x45 seems so much harder.

Incredible lift there Bob! :bow I have to agree that sounds like a great medley event for you (assuming you could pull it off that late in the competition)...not many guys there could do it I think.
