Does anyone ever get any elbow pain when doing grippers ? With my palm faceing up,I am getting some pain on thr inside of my elbow right on the bone. I actualy didn't do my left hand on yesterdays workout. I thoght I would rest a coulpe of workouts and see how it feels. It hurts bad enough that I can't do any curls also.

Not sure about this, but i've heard doing some wrist rolling, and some finger extensions may help recovery/healing.

good luck.

medial epicondilitis

wrist curls and thick bar work is the main cause but yes, grippers and curling can conspire to agrivate it.

wrist stretches, massage, ice after training, heat 24 hrs after training (15 mins 3 to 5 times a day) and an elasticated strapping are the ways to go.

ease off your training and slowly build the weights back over 8 weeks and if u like drugs, 400mg ibruprofen 3 times a day and ultrasound treatment could help.)

I had this problem about a year ago. I was really overdoing things, working with the grippers, PDA wrench and turks and a 2" wrist roller. It got so bad I was icing my elbows even on my off days. I wound up doing no grip work for about six weeks and then easing back into things very slowly. Happy to say that I've had no problems with tendon pain since.
