Stew
I learnt how to do this from Steve Gardner (mobsterone) in preperation for the coc practice comp that was unfortunately cancelled but will now do as much of it as I can as it seems to have a good carryover to my pinch and other grip training. The catalogue seem a little harder than the phone books ive tried maybe down to the shiny cover or the type of paper used. Sorry about the background noise, its a fan because its sooo hot. Stew
popper HaHa I was wondering about that. What does it mean?
Paul Knight
popper HaHa I was wondering about that. What does it mean? Its been a discussion on the board about how a phone book is ripped - cracking/popping is how I do it, but some say its not how you are suppose to rip one and to "Grip'n'Rip" but in my opinion and I think Josh's too - any technique you use - the book is being popped or cracked. I think Josh was just kidding around w/you cause popping is really what everyone is doing no matter how well they can hide it. ............................. (oh sh!t - I think I just opened up a can of worms!)

(oh sh!t - I think I just opened up a can of worms!) I will have a look back on the boards but I think I understand, its kind of when you break the spine?, I dont really know any other way but if its the wrong way I'm blaming mobster as he showed me how to do it LOL. seriously though, there were no particular rules for the comp on how it had to be done but we were going to be trying to do 5 in a minute so I guess he just showed me the quickest way.
