popeye76
what do you guys think a good levering workout would look like? my best lever is a 12lb sledge with an old 1lb weight taped to it with arm straight out and levered down touching my forehead and back up . my current workout is doing a few singles with that and then dropping down to the 10lber and doing 3 or 4 sets of 3-5 reps, and thats it. i have been training with the sledge for almost 8 months and i need to mix things up a little and try a different routine but i have no idea what. any input would be helpful, thanks. mightyjoe
Another exercise you can do is a reverse lever. This where you hold the sledge at your side with your arm hanging straight down to your side with the hammer end behind you. Now from this position you lever the sledge up and down. You may have to choke up on the handle a little because of the leverage it puts on your hand and wrist. Try grabbing about midways first. If that's too difficult, move on up until you can get at least 3-5 reps. Hope this helps. Stay Strong!!! Mighty Joe
