Just A Quick Question...

To train my pinky and ring finger do you think it would be okay to use one of those cheap k mart grippers and just rep it with those fingers?

You could, you could also use some actual grippers like the CoC's or HG's. Just set them in your ring and pinky. If you can get the Trainer R&P then your doing pretty good ;)

lol I can only close the T for 1/2 reps with my right r&p, about 1/4 with left.

so i found an old k mart gripper around and figured I could use that :)

Ha, then I suppose a store bought gripper could help you out. For R&P attempts, try to simply close and hold the trainer for time. That should help you build up to regular R&P closes with the Trainer ;)
