Where do the Tetting grippers(T1 through T14) fall on this scale?

It looks like a pretty good ladder to climb. If the "pounds to close"

figures are accurate then they would be the logical choice for

under 18 dollars.

From what I understand the tetting grippers are the same as the beefbuilders.

I bought a couple of the T-series grippers myself. They are exactly respective with Beefbuilders(because they ARE beefbuilders :D ) :

T1 = beginner

T2 = advanced

T3 = super advanced

T4 = master

T5 = super-master

T6 = grand-master

T7 = elite

T8 = super-elite

T9 = grand=elite

T10 = pro

T11 = world-class

T12 = galaxy

T13 = super-galaxy

T14 = universe

And, for the CoC vs. Bb scale:

.225 BB Beginner................................ ......................................100 lbs

.225 COC T ........................................ ................................. 100 lbs

.235 COC #1 ........................................ ..................................140 lbs

.235 BB Advanced ........................................ ............................140 lbs

.250 BB Super Advanced ........................................ ................173 lbs

.260 BB Master ........................................ .................................195 lbs

.260 COC #2 ........................................ .................................195 lbs

.275 BB Super Master.................................. .............................255 lbs

.281 COC #3 ........................................ ..................................280 lbs

.281 BB Grand Master.................................. ..............................280 lbs

.293 BB Elite ........................................ ......................................306 lbs

.295 spring, 1/4" mount, 2.75 width MMG1 *......................315 lbs

.295 spring, 3/16" mount, 2.75 width MMG2 *.......................325 lbs

.306 spring, 1/4" mount, 2.75 width MMG3 *........................335 lbs

.306 BB Super Elite and 2.75 width MMG4 *........................346 lbs

.312 COC #4................365 lbs

.312 BB Grand Elite...............365 lbs

I got the T-6 thru T-9. They are basically beefbuilder grippers, but the spring setting is deeper than beefbuilder. Makes for a tad bit tougher gripper.
