Guest mg6680
From reading the posts it sounds like the pinch grip wr is 162lbs. There are several peeps here pulling a pair of 45's with one hand. Why wouldn't they be able to pull 180lbs w/two hands? I obviously haven't tried it so maybe the numbers dont jive when you go two hands, plus different widths, etc. I was thinking a pair of 100's two hand pinched would be a good lift (bit wide though). bseedot
I think that that pinch grip number (162) is for one hand pinching. 180+ has been pulled many times in many different contests with the use of two hands, although I can't get more than about 145-150 with the plates I use at home. Pinching two 100's would be an admirable feat. BC.
Guest Jeff Roark
Heck I suck at pinching and pulled 176lbs two handed on my cheap plates and a loading pin. Some of these guys are pinching well over 200 with two hands. Didn't someone say Bruce White did like 270 or something like that?
Tou
162 is with one hand. David Horne did 143 if I remember correctly. I pinch 2 x 45's with one hand but I never tried two hands pinch.
Guest el4n
bseedot, pinching 2 100's would be an incredible feat, especially since the 100's at my gym are considerably wider than a 45. I would go as far as saying it's "impossible".

Guest mg6680
I'm gonna measure the 100's at my gym. I believe they're about 4" across together - that would be a good pinch. I played w/the chrome plated plates a bit too - quite challenging. They even have a pair of chrome plated 100's (that would be a good two handed lift). bseedot
el4n- I meant with two hands. I measured my 100's and they're 2-3/4" diameter each- wider than I had imagined them being. BC.
Guest mg6680
The ones at the gym varied from about 2" to about 2 3/4" across. I was only able to get my second thumb joint on them.
