Guest NailBender
HOOOORAAAYYY!!! Tonight I bent the IM yellow, DO style in 45 seconds. IM Blue in 1 minute, DO style These bends are for all the benders on this gripboard that have encouraged me and help me to the utmost. I have rested from the "Show of Hands" contest until tonight and I thought I would try the 2 key points that Paul Knight and Aaron Corchran taught me at the contest but I was too exhausted to give it a good shot. Well, tonight I gave it a good shot and it made a HUGE difference. Paul and Aaron I can't thank you enough for showing me how to get out on that nail/bar and push in on the ends and power down at a 45 degree angle. This is the 2 points that made it click. Now, I GOT IT!!! Eric, you're my roots at bending man, a big thanks to you too! As easy as that yellow felt, I don't think a grade 5 bolt is out of the question within 2 weeks. I'm going to polish this technique with the yellows and then finish the rest of my blues and then it's on to grade 5's and 8's. BTW, my wraps was a 6" piece of lightweight suede and then the final wrap was IM pads. Felt comfortable too. IM Red Nail, LOOK OUT!!! I'm coming to bend you!!! I'm one excited puppy right now folks!!! Everyone have a great weekend!!! NailBender (Joe Musselwhite)

Guest NailBender
Thanks guys! I didn't mention it in my initial post but both bends were off-center. The IM yelleow by an inch and the IM blue nearly a half inch. I only did those 2 bends because I knew my son Shane was coming over Sunday and I'm going to get some revenge on those 60D shinys. Hey Eric, what's the ratings on the IM blues? NailBender
