I don't know what the standard hub size is but I got this tool that is used as a weight for an industrial balance and it's 4" in diameter with smooth sides.

26.5lbs Hub lift

32lbs Hub lift

Gripper vids. Yes my hands are really small :D 6.5" from crease to tip.

#2 MMS:

#3 MMS fail

TNS progress T, #1, #2failed

Nice videos. That hub looks like it would be a real challenge. The IM hub is 3" wide and 1" deep, in case you're interested. Nice job on the grippers, too. I can't TNS a #2 either.

Thanks guys!

That TNS is really close, I'm pretty sure my problem is not holding the set hard enough on the gripper. As for closing the #3 my biggest mistake is not ordering the #2.5! The jump between #2 and #3 is pretty huge.

So the hub is normally 1" deep? I will make a mark then on the hub then so I don't reach further down.

Love the way you slammed that #2 shut and it clicked. Nice attempt on the #2.5, that's a stout gripper for sure.

Try to get to the point of doing 2-3 reps on the #2 and you'll be slamming that #2.5 shut.

To come that close with a #2 no-set with 6.5" hands is excellent!

Yep, your hands are small! :) Nice work! Try setting the #3 deeper (that's not MMS) and work up from there. Also try to use your thumb more actively.

That vid of your #3 close on youtube. I'm pretty sure you're not holding the "dog leg". Might help a bit more?

Yeah that's something I noticed. In my hands setting the gripper deep in the palm determines how far I'll get the gripper closed. In order to TNS a #2 I have to push the dogleg in with my other hand but that's not technically a TNS.

Gripper Gauntlet :D

Going to failure on both hands, don't know why the 2.5 felt so heavy today (probably fatigued from the other grippers) Anyways, I got the #1.5 closed lefty even though it isn't too clear in the video (I can TNS it lefty) and I am really close to closing the #2 lefty with some set.

I promise next vid on here is going to be a #2.5 close! :rock

Very strong with small hand's you might try setting the gripper farther foward in you hand set the handle in the crease. I know with your small hand's it is tough but it work's trust me good luck you look strong !!! :D

I just watched the vids and was going to say the same thing. The handle in your palm is pretty far back into your thumb pad. If you can get the hang of setting it in the crease in the middle of your hand the #2.5 will fall. I'm still learning to do this LH and it makes a HUGE difference. I've closed the #2.5 LH once with a good set, but normally my set is horrible and I get it down to 1/8-1/4" as the handle in the palm just pushes back as I try to close it.
