Curl Equipment Question...

The thick bars used in AW training are usually knurled or smooth? My guess would smooth, but at the same time, the objective (it seems to me) isn't to latch onto the implement with the fingertips so much as to stress and manipulate the wrist/hand as you work at the elbow...

So, smooth or knurled?

Anything bigger than 3" is probably overkill, eh?

(I love that I have fresh/new questions in my mind with the armwrestling stuff!)

I dont think smooth or knurled really matters. The diameter is more important. I have a 3" handle and I think its more than enough.
