dima700
Hi. I"m interested in purchasing the Heavy Hammer and I just wanted to know if anyone used it and whether they found it to be effective for strengthening the wrists. Thanks everyone. dima700
How about the Heavy Handle Dumbbell from Heavygrips.com? It's only $24.95 and has a 2 inch handle as well.

big nasty
How about the Heavy Handle Dumbbell from Heavygrips.com? It's only $24.95 and has a 2 inch handle as well. I also have one and like it as far as the Heavy Hammer a regular sledge hammer will work just as well if you want a thicker handle use tape. dima700
Thanks, Matt and Big Nasty. I was thinking about Sledge Hammers also but then I would need to buy new sledge hammers if I want to move up in weight. With Heavy Handle Dumbbell and Heavy Hammer, I can just add more plates. gerryg
I own the Ironmind HH2 and I think it is a great training tool, thumbs up!
Matt Brouse
Thanks, Matt and Big Nasty. I was thinking about Sledge Hammers also but then I would need to buy new sledge hammers if I want to move up in weight. With Heavy Handle Dumbbell and Heavy Hammer, I can just add more plates. Or you slide a weight plate on the handle and put a pony clamp on it, works fine. Or tape weight to it. Or just get an empty handle and do the same. gerryg
It's a little bit more money, but you get a lever bar plus more training options with the Elite Stone Trainer. http://www.flexcart.com/members/elitefts/d...PD&pid=2640
dima700
Thanks everyone for your feedback. I just placed an order for a Heavy Hammer II Leverage Bar and sent back by mail my BB Universe, so I can afford this purchase

Both, like any other griptool, works out the forearms in different ways! http://www.heavyhandle.com/ Not to mention my African Walking stick as well!lol http://www.coldsteel.com/91was.html I believe the list is endless to how we can work out all the different muscles in the forearm!
