dunebuggy31
What would be the ideal bands to use for block weight lifts? Also, to guys who use bands with blocks, how much of an impact have bands made in your block weight progression? - thanx in advance
vikingsrule92
I'm assuming you're talking about resistance bands. And I use Minis from EliteFTS. I've only used them a little, and they're DAMN hard to lockout with. I've used a 25 lb blob with a Mini band and I can't get it to lockout, damn close but not quite. I think they could be a valuable tool, I just haven't incorporated them much yet.

I initally figured bands would be a good thing for blocks because those Lifeline cable things helped my barbell military press go through the roof. Glad to hear the bands pose a tough workout though. I think a single Mini is only about $10, so it's a worthwhile training tool for blockweights if you have the cash. You can also use them with KBs and other stuff, so I'd recommend you get some.
