dima700
Hi. Does anyone know where to find a good pair of resistance bands for armwrestling training? Or even some kind of strong bands that can be hooked to a weight plate and simulate the armwrestling moves? I've seen several stores carry fitness bands but I don't know how much weight they can handle and how long I can exercise with them before they break and hit me in the face with a 25 pound plate. Thanks.

bobbrown
What I have done with my bands is to use the easier ones. BUT I use 4 or 5 of them at a time. This way there is not much pressure on any ONE band and they last much longer. I have not had one break yet. BUT I keep a close eye on them. If they start to have little tears in them I'll switch them out. If you buy raw bands, you can get 50 YARDS pretty cheap and that will last you a while. http://www.bindependent.com/hompg/bi/binde...erabandbulk.htm Edited February 3, 2008 by bob brown
