madss
just finished up my 2 hand pinch loadable base. It is balance so the weight is directly centered in your hands. it can be loaded and unloaded easily and thickness disk can be swapped without removing weights. the center cap uses a built in 9/16" bolt that is welded to the cap, which screws into the center tube to squeeze the plate snugly to the back stop. no more movement or slop in the disc. solid as can be. It raises the setup 2.5" higher then if the pinch setup was on the floor., making it a little better for the old back. Well, feel free to asks any question about it. I am just now starting to pull it and it feels nice. http://www.gripboard.com/uploads/120050661...290_2770063.jpg http://www.gripboard.com/uploads/120050661...4_290_52333.jpg http://www.gripboard.com/uploads/120050661...24_290_6837.jpg I am not selling this, for all that are concerned about me promoting my stuff on the board. madss
Ok guys got a solid workout in on the set up. This is a completely new setup pinch plates and all, slick. I started at 135 and got a feel for balance and then moved up to my max of 165. not far off my performance at Gripmas which was 170 during the contest and 180 after the contest. The disc are slick right now but with some good workouts they should season nicely. The setup holds true with no plate separation, the only problem I see so far is the cap is to shallow to tighten up on a 44mm setting. A small spacer would be needed. if anyone wants dimensions pm me and I'll go measure it.
