Can a master crusher help me

Hmm. Using only grippers for crushing work and as part of my training to have a pop at the Number 4 CoC gripper I have recently suceeded at doing reps.

What have I learned?

One: As per Joe K's tips I have done negatives with the 4 and have been, a la John Brookfield holding the spring with my free hand to get another mill or three.

Two: This has given me more strength with the CoC 3 to the point where I will allow it to open from the closed position to about parallel, no more mind, then attempt to reshut the gripper. As you'd appreciate once the limits been reached I also try to get as far as possible.

Three: that, for the time being, sets of three are about my lot.

Hope that goes a little way to helping.

Youngguy,

Forget the reps.  Work on your CRUSH.  Negatives is your answer.  :)  HEAVY negatives.  Good Luck!  :D

Well right now I am working on conditioning for the season, so I can prepare for the #4.  This will build my tendons up some more so I can allow some extra strength to flow through.
