Loading Pin---do It Yourself Questions

I really like the idea of making one with a length of pipe, a floor flange, and the t adapter at the top.... but i would prefer to not have to use the t adapter and short length of chain and carabiner at the top.... is there any type of adapter that could be used in place of the t , that has a hole all the way through -- so a carabiner could be directly attached ? if so, what is it called ? and suggestions are appreciated

the main reason i want to change the design is laziness, and speed..... if that t could be exchanged, i could slip weights off and on the loading pin with far greater ease and quickness to change between different exercises

, obviously not a plumber..haha

http://strongmanfeats.com/MakingLoadingPins.html I think this'll work for you (I'm assuming this isn't the same design, if so sorry). It's pretty simple, just tubing, eye bolt, different washers, nuts and bolts. I think this was Biggerfoot's design.

Yeah, those are mine. After over a year, they are still holding up well! Some black paint has chipped off though. The 1 inch bolt is nearly indestructible.

I have been thinking about using 2'' diameter metal water pipe, a floor flange, and then just simply drilling a hole in the top of the pipe and inserting a bolt with a wing nut to attach the carabiner to. I really like the pvc design too though! :D

To make a loading pin, I used a 12'' pipe nipple, a floor flange, and an endcap. I drilled a hole through the center of the endcap and bolted an eyebolt through it.
