ruffhans
:p the other day when showing this guy my CoCs, he told me how his dad could for sure close the #3 and#4! then he went on to say how one day he saw his dad pick up a two by four piece of lumber and sqeeze so hard,, that he crushed it in his hand! :hehe now its not the feat of strength that he saw his dad do that left me puzzled, but the fact that he thought i was born yesterday!! :p i went home picked up a chunk of two by four i had in my yard, i put my hand around it and sqeezed,.....well, lets just say if someone can do this feat, they can have all of my grippers!!! Mjoynt
Over the years, I've developed one rule for myself. If it has to do with weightlifting, I don't believe it until I see it with my own eyes.
Gripper42004
The other day me & my friend jerry went down to the rail road tracks & crushed some rail road ties & then we bent them into bow ties. It takes a lot of faith to believe in something you cant see.

Roark
I once crushed a 2 x 4 board- took my two hands, and one other factor- thousands of previous termite bites. Seriously, and we were able to break 8 x 8 beams in two because of the same insect damage- so if there was such damage present in this wood, certainly it is possible. But because wood can be used to shim thousands of pounds, one suspect the hand cannot squeeze that hard. When the Power Team performed locally they judo-chopped (right term?) thru several large pieces of ice. What the audience could not see, was that a 'V' had been cut half way thru each section of ice,midway.. So instead of breaking thru a 2 x 6 piece of ice, they were breaking thru a 2 x 3. When they were asked about it, they said it was not to reduce resistance but to make sure all the ice pieces broke at the same spot. Indeed.
