Guest squeezer

I'm interested in grip/lower arm strength not for it's own sake, or for a strongman competition, but for a strong softball swing and the occasional need to swing a hammer around the house.  What exercises would you recommend?

i'd say hammer levering would be the main excercise for you.  it'll really strengthen your wrists.  power holds with a 2" bar would also help your grip endurance, so that you can hold on to that hammer for a while.
