I'd like to try one but I can't find any shot, and enough little screws or nuts would be expen$ive! If someone found something reasonably priced and effective, please let me know. Thanks! GDG! Sybersnott Posted September 3, 2002 Share Posted September 3, 2002 Go Dog Go!, Go to a gun shop and ask them if they have any #7 or #8 chilled lead shot and fill your bag with that. Be forewarned... this stuff can be pricey! I bought a 25 pound bag of the stuff, and slipped it into a sturdier canvas bag I got at a military surplus store (BTW, a good source for finding sandbags).
