You get 9 for first, 8 for second etc. (for example, I got 9 in the gripper event, 8 in the pinch and 7 in the RT, totalling 24). The basis for the scoring of the gripper difficulty is outlined on Nick's web site.

Yes, I was very pleased with the competition (we had a very good time). A big congradulation to Kalle for closing a #3 gripper. He does not do any specific grip training other than the usual strongman stuff (farmers walk, thick ropes etc.).
