That was fantastic!

Brendan, how does that compare to the grade 8 you did in terms of difficulty?

Thank you Guys!!! :mosher:mosher:mosher

Eric I really cant tell I think the square was harder but mangling the steel with the most destructive intention is all that was on my mind with those bends.I want to try some shorter square and some other stuff soon.Thank you again guys!!!

Brendon - do you know yet how the Stainless compares to the standard 1/4" square steel stock yet? I've wondered as it always seemed to me the SS felt the same on the kink of a DO bend and reverse just goes to 40 degrees - any thoughts anyone?

Chris if I understand you correctly,I always thought Stainless square felt a bit softer on the initial kink but loads up way harder after the initial kink than standard steel.I did bend a standard steel square in reverse way offset to 58 degrees minutes before I did the stainless square. But like I said earlier I am having a way harder time gauging the feel of the bends in reverse compared to DO.I think that is because of the explosion I am puting on it, the DO I can feel the whole bend out esp on tough stuff,So I beleive there is a difference in the two squares for sure I have never seen any cal numbers on SS square it would probably be lower than standard CRS as the calibrations are to 30 degrees and I think the CRS square is harder to 30 degrees. It would be interesting to see the 5/16 square certainly came up that way! Maybe it has something to do with the flat sides?

Brendan,

Great job! Very nice bending indeed.

I agree that the stainless square actually felt easier on the kink but as you said catches up really quick.
